Jenna Fischer's most famous part is as Pam Beesly in the highly loved TV show The Office. She received two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in the comedy's ensemble.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in church plays when she was a child that instilled a passion of performing and theater.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her home base. She was a part of Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
Angela Kinsey from The Office (the co-star of Fischer) as well as her real life best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast in the month of October. It was titled Office Ladies. The show has since become extremely popular and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. In its first year, it received over 200 million downloads. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the writer of two books, The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide In it, she describes her journey from St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two of the Best Friends who were there (co-authored by Angela Kinsey), which is the story of their greatest friendship as well as their work on The Office.
